Great first day in the Chilean mountains. Plenty of couloirs, powder at altitude and corn at the bottom and on north faces. 32 degrees in the valley and this place once again shows that it’s all about big mountains, big lines and high contrasts. Great to be back working at Powder South Heli Skiing.

Santiago is the biggest ski town in the world and this is the evidence: The inner city is in the lower left corner and some of the greatest ski terrain I know is marked on the map. Can’t wait to go out there and keep on discovering new secret places!

Cajón del Maipo, Chile. It’s a wonderful feeling to return to the entrance of unbelievable ski terrain with means to explore it all together with Powder South Heli Skiing.

Who can spot the city of the day?

Mt Blanc from yet another angle, with the Chamonix needles in the foreground and one of my favorite ski lines in the middle: the North face of Pain du Sucre – Taken from the summit of Aiguille du Grepon during yesterday’s adventure with Stefan Sporli. Such a perfect day in the mountains.
