When people ask me which books to read and learn from for mountain skills I usually recommend ‘Extreme Alpinism’ by Mark Twight or ‘Freeskiing – How to adapt to the mountain’ by Jimmy Odén. From now on I will add ‘Training For The New Alpinism’ by my friend @stevehouse10 and Scott Johnston. Thank you for the book Steve (as well as for including my text), this will definitely inspire future mountain men and women as well as stand as a reference for years to come!
