Today offered a couple of spring runs in the morning, but high as well as low clouds and flatlight forced us back to base. This photo from two days ago covers the entrance to the last real wilderness in in Western Europe, the Swedish Alps. The more alpine mountains can be seen far in the back. There are no roads in this land and the potential for great skiing is enormous!

Dropping! Guiding one of the most prominent couloirs in Sweden, Kughjulsrännan, together with a great crew, Edward Bekker and Heli Ski Guides Sweden. Today was another great day in my beloved home mountains – With this one as a highlight, but plenty of skiing beauty trough the day and a super atmosphere in the group!

This is Sweden the 9th of May. Guiding the home Alps until the legs got worked with great skiers, fellow guide Edward Bekker and Heli Ski Guides Sweden. Cold powder on north faces, cream on south and skiing of the highest mountain in the country, Kebnekaise, just because “it was there”.

Now and then is a good time to turn around and go home. Especially with 1,1m of wind loading over night on 35-45 degree slopes. Nice to be done with today’s workout at 9 am. Thanks for the hangout @mikumerikanto
