In Cham – A perfectly normal day

What´s a perfect relaxing day in Chamonix for me? Well, yesterday was perfect: Yoga in the sun in the morning, bouldering in Les Bossons at noon, a few hours running around in the mountains in the afternoon and then dinner with friends in the evening – anything and everything I could ask for between a long drive and a few days at the Salomon office in Annecy!

Åka Skidor Photo Gallery

I just got this one sent from friend and photographer Daniel Rönnbäck. It´s a photo from Swedish ski mag Åka Skidor´s gallery in their latest issue. Great work by Daniel who is one of the most talented photographers I know! Check him out at danielronnback.tumblr.com.

The Wall

“We fight for the outer freedom.

We cry for the inner freedom.

With the outer freedom, we see and rule the four corners of the globe.

With the inner freedom, we see the Soul and become the Goal of the entire universe.”

Stockholm – Berlin

We had a great time in Stockholm last weekend with family and friends. Climbing, running and Yoga were on the schedule as always, and when the new week started I spent one day at Haglöfs headquarters in Kallhäll, one day with Swedish TV and then on Wednesday, on our drive south, we stopped by Hestra Glove´s headquarter in Hestra.
From Hestra Ale and myself drove to Berlin for a few days of family time, gathering of inspiration and big city life. Tomorrow I’ll drive south towards France and Chamonix!

Going South

Even though the summer still is serving up with warm weather in the north, one can definitely feel the smell of autumn on its way. After one day of rest in Luleå after the Kebnekaise trip I got one day of packing mixed up with bouldering, packing and changing to winter tires before we started the long drive south for the winter. I definitely often feel with like the birds, changing location with the seasons… First stop is Stockholm for some time with friends and family as well as a day at the Haglöfs headquarters.
There is always time for a boulder session at Brändön

One of my favorites, a small 6c overhang. It´s easy – if you just get of the ground

Changing to winter tires in august definitely gave me some comments from the neighbors

The devil is in the detail says the old proverb, I got to get the skis in shape
